What is Paroxysmal Nocturnal Haemoglobinuria (PNH)?

PNH is a very rare disease affecting the blood. PNH patients’ blood cells are unable to defend themselves from their own immune system, resulting in their red blood cells being destroyed. PNH is a complex disease and patients may experience a range of symptoms. Some patients experience virtually no symptoms, whereas others may have various symptoms and complications.
